I think this was my fourth session with this family. When we first started working together, we had to prop this little guy in a basket because he couldn't even sit yet. I'm pretty sure I hit my step count for the day after his session. We spent the morning running around Hampton Park looking at ducks, climbing light posts and sitting in oak trees. I love this family so much and it's been so fun to watch these kids grow up!
In Full Bloom | Hampton Park Maternity Session
This maternity session was done in Hampton Park in Charleston. You would never know from looking at these pictures that we did this session in March. Hampton Park was in full bloom and was absolutely beautiful!
This sweet couple also moved here from Washington, which is where we were stationed before coming to Charleston. We even share a ton of mutual friends. Such a coincidence!
At the time of this maternity session, they were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their sweet boy who ended up making a surprise appearance. Look out for their newborn pictures to hear the story!

Such an amazing couple! I left feeling like I had known them forever and I cannot wait to see them again + one sweet little baby!
2016 Mini Sessions are here!
I can't believe I'm posting this in August, but... mark your calendars for 2016 Mini Sessions! We start with Fall Family/Halloween minis and then end with studio and outdoor Christmas minis. More information will go out in the next few days and my email list friends will get first dibs on sessions because they sold out quick last year! Leave your email below (or send me a message) to get added to that list.
Dacula & Columbia friends: If I have enough interest, I'll open a date for y'all too!

Pam was one of the first people I met in Washington. We instantly hit it off because, even though we met on the opposite side of the country, we grew up about 20 minutes apart in Georgia. I'm pretty sure we were friends from that day on. The Navy has a way of doing that. We've endured deployments and celebrated homecomings. We've run many miles and races together, prayed together, and just did life together. We were thrilled to get orders to Charleston, the town where they had also moved.
And now we get to celebrate with them because they are adding a little girl to their family! With Pam's sweet, compassionate spirit and Kyle's calm, patient soul, this baby is going to have two of the most amazing parents!
It was a warm evening in downtown Charleston, but Hampton Park was so good to us. Although it had rained for days prior, the sun was shining and the flowers were in full bloom.
I know I speak for everyone when I say that I cannot wait to meet this little girl! I hope she knows how much she was prayed for and how many people already love her.
